Day 1: Arrival in Fethiye
Meet the charter company, get to know your sailing yacht, and pick up supplies. In the evening, enjoy dinner at one of the restaurants.
Day 2: Sarsala
Today brings a lovely sail of around 15 nautical miles to one of the many beautiful bays in the area, only reachable by boat. Enjoy the hospitality and the food at the restaurant, and share a drink by the campfire in the evening.
Day 3: Asi Koyu
Day 3 takes you outside Fethiye Bay for a sail of around 25 nautical miles. This bay sits between high cliffs, barely visible from the sea. Mooring buoys are available just off the beach. In this stunning setting, dine at a simple local restaurant.
Day 4: Marmaris
Another sail of around 25 nautical miles, this time to the bay of Marmaris, the lively heart of this coast. The marina makes a great base, with facilities including a pool, supermarket, restaurants and bars. A free ferry or a dolmuş minibus gets you into central Marmaris in about 20 minutes, where there's plenty to see and do.
Day 5: Ekincik
Day 5 brings a 20-nautical-mile sail. Ekincik is a beautiful bay, and a great base for a memorable excursion: take a small boat through a river delta, passing Turtle Beach, the ancient city of Kaunos, sulphur and mud baths, and the Lycian rock tombs. Well worth the detour.
Day 6: Ruin Bay
A lovely 30-nautical-mile sail with generally steady wind. In Ruin Bay you'll spot the remains of an old monastery in the water, right alongside where you'll moor at the jetty. The family running the restaurant here gives a warm welcome and a great evening on their floating restaurant. Fancy a proper walk? Follow the trail up to an old mountain village.
Day 7: Fethiye
Sail past Göcek to moor in Fethiye by late afternoon, with time for a relaxed dinner and a last look around town.
